that unnatural sense of peace calls to something deeper in him than Angel Devil can consciously recall.

others fought it. but he wants it. directly exposed, he wants that peace so, so badly. this place is just denial. a week of freedom is nothing. Chaos probably hasn't even noticed one of his scrambling little warrior ants has left the fray without properly dying, yet-- any day now, the next cycle could begin, and he would simply be conjured into it anew.

this is a chance. this is a gift.
