Game 2 - Rose
[A rose shaped crystal rises from the ground. You instinctively know to touch it for Death's Eye to receive your answer.

[That's the way he lives, for the most part.]
For others, the value may be what they leave behind for others. Memories can be recalled and judged. Possessions can be passed on.
Is the value based your view or the view of those around you? Is it both? ...Oh my, I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be.
[What answer here is the most beneficial to him?]

No, just- just think about the other questions for a moment.
"Would YOU judge a life taken willingly."
"Who would YOU kill."
This one is different. We were asked for the value of life, not our value.
What you said just now - "Life's value is in how fleeting it is." Why can't that be the answer? Its value lies in it being a necessary precursor to death.

I think Angel Devil would probably agree with it... What did he say again? "The value of life is in the living of life"? Which I think is kinda like what you're getting at.
But the whole sequence of death coming after life was pretty important to Blood Fiend...
I guess if we were to smush it all together, we might get something like: "The value of life is in the living of life, but every person has their own idea of what makes life fulfilling. In the end, it's the transience of life that gives death meaning."
What do you think?

[ you know, actually. since Crescendo's back, he still has an objective to fulfill.
walks over to gently hug Angel Devil. awkward with the height difference and one working arm, but if it works it's two birds with one stone. how else is he gonna deal with his crying teammate that clearly doesn't want to be ignored. ]

Whuh. What are you doing.

Moment of greed, teammate. If we get out of this alive... I still need that potion.

Cute threat.
[ conveniently, Floyd answers the final question around here, so he'll let go, promptly re-masking the exhaustion lest he start feeling it for real. stalling: success.
fuck you Red and your consent though, he could have had a freebie. ]
