No, that's too vague. Sometimes people hurt others unintentionally, or because of response to their own trauma. Also, people fighting back... need to narrow it down some.

I think someone who harms others deliberately and for the pleasure of it, then...at least, my own answer is "someone who kills for their own entertainment".

Mm... people who hurt others for purely selfish or sadistic reasons, and who dehumanise others for their own benefit. People who hurt kids and enslaves them, they definitely deserve to die.

No one. Death is not something that is "deserved".

And if that person has killed multiple people and shows no signs of stopping?

That is when they should be imprisoned. To kill another causes a cycle.

I think imprisonment is most useful when there is a chance of rehabilitation. If not, it's a waste of resources.

It's part of my reasoning for my own answer. [ Legal concerns, etc, but also...yeah, he straight up thinks some people do deserve death.

I understand, and I don't condemn you for your answer. I... used to think the same thing, really. It's simply one I cannot see eye-to-eye with anymore.

Everyone has their own thoughts. I think there's just some people who will do far more harm alive than they would dead, and it's...necessary. [ But also, he's on a revenge trip, ignore him... ]

I think it takes a pretty extreme sort of person to deserve it. Many crimes are forgivable or understandable in certain lights, but there are others that are...evil.

Of course. They should be punished for their crimes.

I suppose... in my point of view, they would need to be alive to suffer the consequences.
