S-so... now we should actually come up with some answers, right?

I-I think it's wrong to think of death as a thing that people 'deserve'... f-for the first one... it's like asking who deserves to be born. I-it's just a thing that happens.

Pretty sure there's people who deserve it, if only so the rest can live in peace until they die.

T-that's not really 'deserving it', though... isn't that like saying that contagious sick people 'deserve' to be quarantined so they can't pass it along? E-even if it's better for others if they die or get isolated it doesn't necessarily...

... so, the orphanage I'm from. It's actually where a cult group pulled a bunch of kids and raised, tortured, and even experimented on 'em up as assassins until they either broke down and died or killed enough that they might as well be dead.

Well... I don't think anyone is deserving of death. And everyone should be mourned, but especially those who would be forgotten - those who do not have anyone else. I couldn't judge a life taken by one's own hand; how could one judge someone pushed to think there was no other escape but death? And I could not kill anyone - I will not... kill anyone, not if I have the choice.

And I've always thought the value of life would be to continue the legacy of those alive, and build a new future for others.

If all of those are honest answers, they will at the least do no harm.

I don't think you're lying. But I've seen men at the edge of death break and fail to hold those convictions, as much as I've seen them stand by them.

I didn't, but... it was a near thing. I had planned to. ... and sometimes, even when you plan to leave an ideal behind, you find you just can't.

We can't discount the possibility.

However...Death said she was trying to see a road. To choose the new path and parameters. So from there I believe we can infer that our true answers matter deeply here, rather than our ability to act on them in a false scenario. She does not want us all traipsing down into her halls all over again, unneeded, before time.
