BLUEBELL

You find yourselves in a room that's like an empty circus ring, smaller than the Big Top that you were just previously in. The stands surrounding it are completely empty and, for some reason, you cannot exit the tent. In the center, a magician's box dangles from the ceiling by a chain, with more chains winding around it and locking it shut tight. It dangles high above your heads, just out of reach. Instinctively, you know someone is in there.

Underneath the box is a small, circular table with a magic 8-ball sitting there. Just by looking at it, you all know that if you ask it a yes or no question, it will respond truthfully. You can only ask it up to three questions, though, and it takes a moment to reset.

Although the demon is not immediately visible, you can still feel its presence lurking about . . .

I see.

[A hand of shadows reaches out and winds around and around and around and around the box.

The hinges creak and the sides begin to buckle.]

[And then the shadows gently let Tyr down on the table.

The demon is gone.]

[stretching an arm out] Fuck.

I was half-expecting what happened the last time I got locked up like this.
