[gm card room - rose]
[You find yourselves seated around a table in the middle of a small room. You canβt really perceive any walls, just heavy black velvet curtains on all sides. If you push them aside looking for a way out, you just keep finding more curtains behind them.
There is a crystal ball in the middle of the table and a spread of six large cards arranged around it, currently facedown. Their backs are a plain matte black.
You are aware that powers are all off for card rounds but will be on for the punishment round. You have whatever items are normally on your person.]

How come you're the easiest...?
Re: [discussion]
I've no enmity with anyone on the other flocks, but it seems like Rose formed a reputation from before I was here.
Re: [discussion]
Re: [discussion]
I think this stack of punishments we get to look forward to is not evidence of dislike, but that people are fine tossing us in the garbage, because we don't really matter anyway.
Re: [discussion]
Re: [discussion]
It's the same with us. We get a list of targets, we remove from the running those that are against our interests to harm, and the other two flocks get to receive our violence so we can take their points.
It's the same for us, and why we've gotten so many. It's not even hate, it's indifference. "Hate" implies people actually pay attention to what we're doing and care about it enough to want to do something about it.
I wish I knew who sent us the ten-pointer, though. If they want to show me violence in indifference, I'd love to show them violence with passion.
Re: [discussion]
It ain't indifference in the sense that they don't care whether you get hurt or not... they all wanna seem like good people, so if it was just a choice between hurtin' you and not, I bet they'd all say they'd avoid it. But since they "had to" do it to someone, and you were the most convenient target, they "had to" do it.
Re: [discussion]
I imagine most of us are willing to do whatever we have to to preserve our best interests, even if those interests are simply not getting hyper-murdered at the end of the ritual because we didn't have enough points.
It's not like I don't understand the concept of people valuing their own lives over ours. That's just life.
Re: [discussion]
The part that annoys me is when people act like they're not doin' that. That they're somehow makin' righteous choices while everyone else is bein' selfish, when everyone's all doin' the same thing.

If you're going to hurt someone, then do it with intent instead of justifying it in ways that try to make you look innocent. I'd accept that better than acting righteous.

Maybe I can make it up to you some other way? Do you need any food or clothes or anything like that?
Re: [discussion]
[THINKS]
Oh! Flocks can make furniture n' stuff via rites, right? Flare's been trying to get more stuff for the treehouse since we basically only got a bunch o' pillows and frigerators. You guys could help out with that.

Re: [discussion]
Yeah, you should prob'ly just pick somethin'. She'll prob'ly be happy whatever ya get her, 'cause ya were thinkin' about her and did somethin' for her. She just don't like seemin' needy.
Re: [discussion]
What stuff do you guys have in the clubhouse already? Let's see if we can fill in some of the missing pieces.
Re: [discussion]

We've got... pillows. And the bigger bean-filled pillows.
...That's it, pretty much.
Well, in individual rooms people got the small frigerators, and whatever other things people got individually, but I dunno all of it.
Re: [discussion]
[hang on, she fishes out a notebook for this.]
Maybe some tables or desks, shelves... do you need any kitchen implements? Pots and pans? Plates? Storage for food and water?
How about blankets or other bedding materials?
