[gm card room - lily]
[You find yourselves seated around a table in the middle of a small room. You canβt really perceive any walls, just heavy black velvet curtains on all sides. If you push them aside looking for a way out, you just keep finding more curtains behind them.
There is a crystal ball in the middle of the table and a spread of six large cards arranged around it, currently facedown. Their backs are a plain matte black.
You are aware that powers are all off for card rounds but will be on for the punishment round. You have whatever items are normally on your person.]

I don't want you thinking you have to give out punishments either. We already said that we'd work it out when we know what we have to do. Besides, you can't even hurt mortals.
If we want to ensure more points then playing three lower cards makes more sense. It's still the same amount of people getting hurt regardless of what we play, and we don't know what the punishments are, so I would lean towards more points if that's our goal.
Re: [discussion]
Three lower cards or two of the sixes. That's what gets us the same amount of points here.

[unrepentant!!! and holds up three fingers]
I'll still defer to what you and Ananke want to go with. But three lower cards hurts less people--it targets three people in total, whereas two sixes would target four people. If it's the same amount of points then it feels prudent to avoid harming more people where possible, especially when we know two teams are already being hit in full. It's something to consider.
Re: [discussion]
...three lower cards. Yeah. I think that's better.
Re: [discussion]
What, you had to think about it? You can hit more people if you want to. I won't stop you.
Re: [discussion]
Yeah, you caught me. I was really looking for an excuse to stab some guys today.

Re: [discussion]
How are you going to beat a demon in a fight, Ceph? Share your wisdom with the class and we'll see if it sounds like a good idea, or if it sounds like we're throwing away all of our points by guaranteeing an extra punishment.
Re: [discussion]
I'm not saying right now, geez.
