[You find yourselves seated around a table in the middle of a small room. You can’t really perceive any walls, just heavy black velvet curtains on all sides. If you push them aside looking for a way out, you just keep finding more curtains behind them.

There is a crystal ball in the middle of the table and a spread of six large cards arranged around it, currently facedown. Their backs are a plain matte black.

You are aware that powers are all off for card rounds but will be on for the punishment round. You have whatever items are normally on your person.]

Two cards left to choose from. Which for Daffodil and which for Rose, you think?

... I think the heart one is more likely to be something mental, so that one for Rose.

Then we can do that one for Rose. And that leaves the beholding one for Daffodil.

Okay. That, and voiding for Peony, right?

Right. That sounds...not good to me, but probably as good as it's gonna get.

[ nods ]

I think it's the best we can do for this round.

[ breathes the fuck out ]

The other flocks are probably gonna play harder, but maybe they'll avoid us this round.

Hey. We worry about that when we have to. Thinking about it now is just a recipe for getting even more stressed out.

I dunno if I can get any more stressed than I already am.
