KIDNAPPEE - Bluebell & Lily
WHO: Lethe & Melody
WHERE: ???
WHEN: ???
[wakey wakey! When were you knocked out?? When did you get taken? Answers for later. It's very likely you don't wake up at the same time though. Shhh, time/space.
But you're in....some kinda office? Weird. It's pretty minimal, but there are windows, though all you can see outside is the mist and some faint lights in the distance.
Their accommodations aren't much better. Both Melody and Lethe find themselves in matching, clear cubicles. There's at least a desk and chair in each if they need to sit down.
Oh yeah, and there's a shadowy like wolf in a mask sitting at the table.]
About time one of you woke up. Just so you don't try anything foolish. . .
One, you're in the mist, so whatever abilities Stormia blessed you with won't work here. Secondly, each of your cubicles are rigged. If the structures sense any deterioration from an escape attempt, a poisonous gas will be released into the girl's area, and the other will be crushed. Thirdly, they've been reinforced with barrier magic. No teleportation spells will work.
I've been instructed to talk to you. Let's make it quick.

Re: Lethe
But if you're dead, it means I'll have to get another sheep in your place. Perhaps they'll be far more cooperative if they see your body.
Re: Lethe
Do you think a dead body is going to make someone more cooperative? If you show someone a corpse they have even less of a reason to talk to you. They'd have no guarantee that you won't just kill them too.
Re: Lethe
Maybe not, but my methods are extremely efficient. I don't need your critique.
Now describe to me the powers that were bestowed upon you.
Re: Lethe
[wow in his desire to be helpful it's like he forgot to answer the question. what a shame!]
Re: Lethe
The Boss values me more than anyone. He'd never abandon me, not like your precious sheep.
Re: Lethe
He values you, does he? That's why you're out here doing grunt work instead of handling more important tasks at his side? Well, he's probably low on helpers these days since most of his court are mindless beasts roaming the mist. I understand. You take what work you can get when you're desperate.
In comparison I'm not exactly worried that my "precious sheep" will abandon me. Should I put in a good word for you when I get out of here? They might be hiring.
Re: Lethe
You don't know what you're talking about. And so, I can only surmise you will be of no use to us.
[another movement, and another knife comes flying, this time at his shoulder.]
. . .but rejoice, useless sheep. It's by his benevolence that you're allowed to live a little longer.
Re: Lethe
I don't think the CEO of a pile of nightmare factories knows what benevolence is. Wouldn't it be easier for you if you just let us go? I promise not to tell anyone you didn't do your job.
Re: Lethe
Nightmares are simply another kind of dream. And like all dreams, we can learn much about ourselves and others, even simpletons like you. Fear is one of the most basic, necessary instincts of any living creature, after all.
Re: Lethe
well. this time it hurts. but details.]
Necessary, huh. Does that mean even you have something that you're afraid of? Does your boss? I'd be very curious to know what that is.
Re: Lethe
[she hits the remote, and the tv lights up, screens split. The sound is off. . .for now, but he's treated to a camera feed of Sonata shoved up against electrified bars, Levi gasping for air as the water in his fish bowl prison bowls him, Yata being burned by the light of a mirror, and Biscuit getting kicked over and over again while chained to wall.]
If you refuse to speak, I'll turn you from a sheep and into a guinea pig. What do you fear?
Re: Lethe
...If you're not going to share with the class, I don't see why I should. You're stooping a bit low in torturing children, don't you think? They don't know anything.
Re: Lethe
[she turns up the volume, letting him hear their screams and gasps]
But if they don't know anything, am I to take that as an admission you don't, either. . .? Are you saying we should kill you all and be done with it then? That would free up my schedule quite nicely.
Or do you have something of proper substance to share with the class?
Re: Lethe
If I tell you something you want to know, will you let the rest of them go?
Re: Lethe
That's up to the boss. But so long as you behave and don't act like a bratty waste of space, I'm certain a compromise can be reached.
Re: Lethe
I need a guarantee. There's no reason for me to think you'll keep your word. I'm not giving you something for nothing. Go ask your boss.
Re: Lethe
He's preoccupied at the moment and I will not disturb him. Nor will I go back empty handed. I'm being courteous to you now and offering this nugget of negotiation, and yet. . .
You sheep truly care little about your so called packs.
Re: Lethe
Aren't wolves the same? Or maybe you don't give a shit about your pack. That's why they're all gone and your boss is an incoherent pile of rage wandering the mist. "Preoccupied" my ass.
I'll negotiate a deal, but I won't fall for a scam. I have enough information to trade for each person, if that's how you want it.
Re: Lethe
Don't you DARE compare us to you, not after what that ram did! The boss is doing all he can for us, he'll NEVER end up in the same position as the king!
[she raises her sleeve again]
I'll give you one last chance to say something worth while, and if you can't, I'll enjoy slicing you to pieces, and then those other worthless sheep will follow.
Re: Lethe
Tell me your boss's name and I'll tell you where the Wolf King's child is.
Re: Lethe
You truly are a callous, useless sheep. . .the boss is the king's heir, and to speak ill of their dead. . .! You'll pay for this!
Re: Lethe
Re: Lethe
You truly know nothing! What a waste. A jest!
But I'll humor you, sheep, before you meet your demise--I'll gladly give you the boss's name, just as soon as I hear as what lies spew from your mouth. So do tell me where her corpse lays.
Re: Lethe
[wags a finger at her]
Sorry, that's all you get for free. Your shithead coworkers are off somewhere torturing my friends, so I'm not feeling very generous at the moment. If you're not giving me information or releasing my companions, I don't need to tell you any more than that.
Re: Lethe
[spreads her arms]
As I thought, your kind is heartless, cruel, and full of tricks. You aren't swayed even if the lives of your 'friends' hang in the balance. You even have the gall to lie to my face.
There's only one way to deal with scum like you.
