[wakey wakey! When were you knocked out?? When did you get taken? Answers for later. It's very likely you don't wake up at the same time though. Shhh, time/space.

But you're in....some kinda lounge? Den? Weird. There's a fireplace, and large windows, though all you can see outside is the mist.

Their accommodations aren't as comfy though. Sonata finds herself in a human sized bird cage suspended from the ceiling, the bars delivering a light shock if she touches them, and it hangs directly over Leviathan, who's in a mer-sized fish bowl. It has a cute plastic scuba diver in it.

Oh yeah, and there's a wolf sitting on the couch.]

Oh good, you're awake. A couple of ground rules here.

One, you're in the mist, so whatever abilities Stormia blessed you with won't work here. Secondly, each of your cages are rigged. If the structures sense any deterioration from an escape attempt, the cage will drop into the bowl, drowning the girl and electrocuting the fish. Thirdly, they've been reinforced with barrier magic. No teleportation spells will work.

[snaps his fingers, and a disembodied shadowy hand brings a generic bottle of water up to her cage. The hand is similar to the one keeping death's eye open]

Don't touch the bars unless you want to be knocked out again.

( but yeah no she will not touch the bars. even if just accepting the bottle is nerve wracking enough. )

[Waking up underwater hasn't been the norm for a while, so Leviathan is immediately alert. He picks himself up from the bottom of the fishbowl and does a cursory lap around it to get a look at the place.]

I must say, it's pretty strange to see someone like you in the pasture. You don't look like someone who'd make a pact with sheep.

If everyone did what was expected of them then life would be boring, wouldn't it?

[he takes a remote near the couch and presses it. Immediately, Leviathan will feel the water gradually heating.]

Some small questions to start. What flock are you from--and have you made any pacts with any demons?

I'm part of Rose, and I've not made a single pact with a demon since I joined.

( well. she's fucking deaf. but word of ash says there's a big ol' mirror so she can see leviathan. once they're alone, she scoots closer to that side of the cage- )

[The mirror, is it? He turns that way and moves to the edge of his giant fishbowl so he's as close to the reflection as he can be.]

Mm. Mostly. ( though she frowns at the state of him.... ) Though I'm sure they'll be happy to change that if we do anything out of line. Are you okay...?

It hurts quite a bit to breathe through my gills.

[Despite this, he's staying underwater. It also hurts to move around too much because of his burnt skin, so he'd rather not keep himself at the top of the bowl just to take in air instead.]

But you must have gotten worse.

( if he's poked his head out there's definitely a heavy scent of blood, from the hole in her arm and the claw marks on her head. she's not even sure where the injuries are.

also the electrocution.

she will not confirm any of this, but he has eyes. the mirror is right there. )

I was... not very cooperative. I got the feeling that... if I had continued... answering, terrible things would happen.

He seemed to find such stubbornness to be foolish, but he wasn't giving a very convincing argument for why we should just accept the situation we'd been put in and tell him whatever he wanted.

I suspect they're also hoping we'll say more once he's stepped away.
