Despair is not knowing what is going to happen tomorrow. Hope is having a goal. Hope is doing the same puzzle forever. Despair is flinging all the pieces up in the air.

If "hope" is doing whatever wild thing gives you a chance, that's only because despair already crushed you into being desperate enough to do it. --Despair still wins.
