I think we need to fill out the squares, but without overlapping with the flocks... or the center grid.

I think ours is the fourth grid- our title space is the same color on the symbol key. If it's a proper grid, that means we're "the left side of the middle row".

I'm not familiar with many people here, so I'll leave deciding tributes to the rest. But I can do my best with the rest.
