STORM RITUAL - PEONY

[Your Barn seems to fall away to the sides and you find yourself on a suspended platform over molten lava. The platform is unsteady however--its ropes will break soon. There are two platforms to either side of you--a long with a sign. "Caution, fragile."

You don't know which platform the sign is for. But sooner or later, your Flock will need to take a leap of faith if you don't want plunge into the lava below.]

A voice rings out: Peony can save only one. Who?

[BLUEBELL is in the middle of an open field, but Minuet's arm seems to be warping into a horrible weapon of sort, threatening to blow them all up soon. Possibly the others could run, but how far will they truly get. . .?]

[Lily is trapped in a deep valley with steep cliffsides, surrounded by flowers. A bunch of humanoid wolves resembling Bea have surrounded them, taking delight in slowly slicing them to bits.]

[CLOVER is in a graveyard, surrounded by a horde of zombies. They don't seem to have anywhere to hide.]

[DAFFODIL is surrounded by a pack of One-Eyed Gorgon wolves, with the threat of being turned to stone the longer the wolves have them trapped]

[ROSE is surrounded by snakes and mongooses, each threatening to tear the other animal, and the flock apart.]

[THISTLE is trapped in an icy room, looking sicker and sicker as time goes on.]

. . . I hate to say it but the choice is a little obvious, isn't it?

[EVERY FUCKING TIME.]

I feel like this is one of those where you're supposed to break the choice or whatever... but for me it's pretty obvious.

For me, at least... Well, they're probably going to choose Bluebell, though.

Even if they do, I think in this situation it's a 'do what we can' situation.

They have a codified alliance. I think probably a lot of the flocks have pre-existing ones...

Maybe we should choose to save ourselves.

If it's an option, I'd prefer to take that than wait and see if anyone's willing to save us.

Previously, when we were in a situation and attempted to navigate around the rules I don't believe it went as planned. I'm not against the attempt, especially because I want to keep you as safe as possible.

However, if we have to pick a team of those listed I would pick Lily.
